Cookies and browser storage
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. The banner explains the storage used by the site; dismissing it does not enable advertising or analytics.
- Your Night Workshop session. The
__Host-crow-collectioncookie connects this browser to your saved collection and supported game progress. It lasts up to 365 days, unless it is cleared or the device is disconnected. It is sent only over HTTPS, cannot be read by page scripts, and is restricted to same-site requests. - Ranked Tab Hopper. When you use online runs,
__Host-th-playeridentifies your player so the server can verify a run and keep its score. It can last up to 365 days. Practice preferences stay in your browser. - This banner. “Got it” stores the local preference
emil-hub.storage-notice.v2. It contains only “dismissed”, not a personal identifier. It stays until you clear site data or we update the notice. You can reopen it through “Cookies & privacy”. - Game preferences and local saves. Appearance, sound, controls and supported classic-game saves use local storage or IndexedDB. These remain until you or your browser clear them. Private browsing, storage limits and interrupted writes can lose local progress.
- Delivery and security. Cloudflare may use security cookies when a check is needed. Their names and lifetimes depend on the protection used. Cloudflare’s cookie details explain these separately from our game sessions.
Your collection and saved games
The Night Workshop keeps your collection, opened packs, rewards, linked devices, trades and supported game progress on our server. A random collection identifier connects these records. You do not need to give us an email address to play. These records let you resume, recover a collection and use its cards across the games.
Use Save & recovery to keep your recovery code, pair another device or disconnect a device. Keep recovery and pairing codes private. Clearing browser storage removes this browser’s access but does not delete the server collection. Without another connected device or your recovery code, you may lose access to it.
Server collections and progress are retained so you can return. For access, correction or deletion requests, contact [email protected]. Please do not email a password or recovery code. We may need to confirm that the collection belongs to you.
Classic arcade games use device-local save storage where supported. Their player tells you whether a save is available. Downloaded game assets may also stay in the browser cache. Installing Night Workshop adds a small app shell; it does not download the entire arcade or make every game playable offline.
Ranked Tab Hopper sends run inputs and checkpoints so the server can verify the result. Submitted nicknames and accepted scores can appear on the public leaderboard. Game services also keep the records needed to prevent duplicate rewards and abusive requests.
Connections and hosting
Cloudflare and our server provider receive connection details, including your IP address and the requested file, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Website access logs contain technical request details such as URLs, times and response status. Provider and system logs have their own retention settings.
Your browser may send connection-error reports to Cloudflare to diagnose failed requests. We do not use these reports for advertising profiles. Cloudflare’s connection-error reporting describes this processing.
Game controls and external links
Games and their files are served from this site. Audio, pointer lock and fullscreen start through game controls. Optional tilt controls use motion readings locally and ask for permission where the browser requires it. The games do not request your camera or microphone.
Project, credit and source links take you to other websites. Their privacy policies apply there. We do not embed advertising pixels or analytics scripts, or track you across websites, whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Your choices and contact
You can clear local saves, cookies, preferences and the banner dismissal in your browser’s site-data settings. This can remove local progress and sign you out. Save your recovery code first if you want to return to your server collection. Browser storage is separate for each browser and origin; Workshop pages use things-im-doing.com so the games share one collection.
