Mortal Kombat Trilogy

Three tournaments. One final confrontation.

Play loads the complete DOS CD edition, including its original disc from this site, about 613 MB. Game-written files can be kept in this browser. Original disc loading and transitions can take time.

Press Play to load the game.

Choose your fighter

At the original video-analysis prompt, press Esc to skip the optional analysis. Let the original logos and disc-loading transitions finish; Enter opens the game menu. Low punch (number-pad 1) confirms the mode, fighter and ladder. Use the arrow keys to move through choices.

Click the screen to use your keyboard. Arrow keys move and jump; number-pad 4 and 1 punch, 6 and 3 kick, 5 blocks and 2 runs while you hold a direction. These are the supplied original player-one keys. Touch players can slide the direction pad and tap or hold the action buttons. Expand gives the fight more room.

For a second keyboard player, Z is the supplied Start key; A/D move, W jumps, S ducks, T/G punch, U/J kick, Y blocks and H runs. G confirms player-two choices. This page keeps those native keys separate from player one. Changing keys inside the game does not change the touch buttons.

The game pauses when you leave this tab. Game-written files are saved periodically and on Exit; use the original game or setup save command before keeping settings. Your settings are kept, but fights start over when you reload. Clearing browser storage removes local files. Physical phone performance and original hardware timing have not been measured.
