Controls & settings

Click the screen to use your keyboard. Arrow keys move and jump; U and N punch, I and M kick, J blocks and R runs while you hold a direction. Enter starts and confirms main-menu choices. Use arrow keys to open and move through options. Highlight Quit and press Enter before keeping changed settings. PgDn selects the fighter and ladder using the supplied player-one selection key. Esc opens the main menu or goes back. The buttons follow the supplied default game keys: numpad 4/1 punch, 6/3 kick, 5 block and 0 run. If you change keys inside the game, these buttons keep their original mapping.

On touch screens, slide the direction pad for diagonals and hold attacks with another finger. Use the menu buttons to start and select. Expand gives the fight more room; rotate to landscape if you prefer.

The game pauses when you leave this tab. Game-written files are saved periodically and on Exit; use the original Quit menu to write its settings first. Difficulty returns to Medium when the game restarts. Your settings are kept, but fights start over when you reload. Clearing browser storage removes local settings. Physical phone performance has not been measured.
